It is estimated that there are over 60,000 carers in Glasgow. This report documents the work currently being undertaken to support the network of eight Carers Centers in Glasgow to implement a robust approach to ensuring equal access to employment and employability services for Carers.
This work is being undertaken in a partnership between Equal Access to Employment, Glasgow City Council Social Work Services, and the Carers Centers. It includes the 8 employment action plans developed by the local centers.
