Welcome to the March edition of the Equal Access e-bulletin. In this month’s issue we have an update on Glasgow Works and the overall evaluation of the project. We also highlight a new approach to supporting people with long term health and social needs being piloted by the West Referral Team. We conclude by showcasing the person centered approach offered by the South East Bridging Service and the new sports centred pilot project ‘Golden Goal’.

Welcome to the February edition of the Equal Access e-bulletin. In this month’s issue we report on the Re:Focus Development Partnership meeting as well as the success of the Equipped for the Future training course. We also give an insight into the specialist employability services targeted at blind and partially sighted people in Glasgow and highlight the opportunities to be gained by The University of Strathclyde Senior Studies Institute programme.

In this month’s issue we have profiled the new Glasgow Works Team. We also have a short profile on the new Pathfinder Projects being funded by Glasgow Works.
Our case study, as usual, is of particular interest highlighting the good partnership between the private and voluntary sector in supporting people along the employment pathway and into employment.

Welcome to the December edition of the Equal Access ebulletin. The team at Equal Access can’t believe that it is a year since we started producing the ebulletin and we would like to thank all of those who have contributed articles or given comment on how we can improve it.

The aim of this e-bulletin is to promote the work of the Equal Access partners and in this edition we highlight on some of the excellent partnership work being developed through health, social care, employability services and employers.
We would also like to announce the re-launch of the Equal Access website on 7th December, so watch out for a reminder email coming your way next week..
October 2007
This edition highlights the first Glasgow Business Diversity Awards. The awards were sponsored by Equal Access to Employment in Glasgow, RE:Focus Development Partnership, Job Centre Plus and the Greater Glasgow Network of Supported Employment. The awards recognise employers who actively encourage diversity in the workplace both in recruitment and retention.

This edition leads with the launch of Glasgow Works, Glasgow's worklessness strategy. There is a short atricle on the launch of the Employability Services Directories, and you can find out more about the employability work being done by Flourish House Clubhouse and the Skilling Up Project at the Lodging House Mission.

This edition includes information on Empowering Service Users through lessons learned from the EQUAL Development Partnerships, the Chinese Employment Project and the North Glasgow Meaningful Activity Partnership. We have also added a 'Dates for your Diary' section.
